I’ve been pleased to see the number of prospective members and new members joining our recent meetings. I’ve also been very happy to see some members that are re-joining FEI after having left for a period of time. We know that individual’s situations change and are encouraged to see people coming back when they are able to commit to being re-engaged in our chapter.
I know there are a high number of highly qualified financial professionals in the communities our chapter covers that would make a great addition to our chapter, and we are by no means tapped out in regard to the potential members available to help us grow. One confirmation of that has been the quality of the prospective members and new members that have joined the past few months. Thank you to everyone who continues to invite people to our meetings and give them an opportunity to see the value FEI has to offer. Everyone benefits from having a full room at our meetings, and we appreciate everyone’s help in making that happen.
Speaking of a full room, our much-anticipated event featuring Wayne Larrivee proved to be a fantastic meeting. Wayne’s engaging presentation and behind-the-scenes insights made for a memorable event. I would ask, again, that we do everything we can to invite prospective members to our last meeting of the year. We’ll have another high-profile speaker: Sherron Watkins, the Enron whistleblower. Please help us take advantage of another unique opportunity to showcase our chapter by inviting prospective members to our final meeting in April.
