Member Experience Update

A recent decision was made to combine a couple of our committees. The Engagement and Retention Committee and Membership Committee are now combined and will be called our Member Experience Committee. We noticed that the two committees were working on things that were either directly impacting each other or overlapping at times. The change should create more continuity across the initiatives geared towards attracting new members to our chapter as well as retaining our current ones.
Related to that, one of our committee’s focus points is making prospective and current members feel welcome at our meetings. If you see an unfamiliar face at one of our upcoming meetings, I’d encourage you to introduce yourself or invite them to join you at your table. We will all benefit from making others feel welcome and expanding our professional network a little bit.
Lastly, I am excited for the programs we have scheduled for the last few months of the program year and believe we have a real opportunity to showcase our FEI Chapter to prospective members. I’d encourage everyone to consider inviting a guest or two to one of our upcoming meetings whether that is someone at your organization or at another company in the area.
One more “lastly,” please remember to follow our LinkedIn page if you aren’t already and/or invite others to follow our page.
